No. It is software that prepares the form and gathers references for a practitioner to review. Using it creates no attorney-client relationship.
No. You upload the SB/08 and the reference copies in Patent Center with your own account. Paralegaless never asks for your USPTO.gov login.
Yes. You enter the application details yourself; they stay in your browser until you generate the SB/08. Family detection runs only when you click it, and finds a family once any member is published, including related numbers you choose to give it.
You do. Suggested references from the patent family show who cited them and why, but nothing is added until you select it, and materiality is your judgment.
Paywalled papers are marked for you to upload. Non-English documents are flagged for the concise explanation 37 CFR 1.98(a)(3) requires, and an English family member is found when one exists.
Edits and re-downloads within 30 days are free. If the result is not what was promised, we fix it, replace the credit, or refund it. Unused credits are refundable for 14 days. The full Refund Policy says exactly what is covered.
